Ms. Burger was raised by her mother in Lancaster, PA. She is one of three daughters. She graduated from high school in June of 2001 and in August of 2001 began attending University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She participated in Campus Ministry, History Club, Best Buddies, Concert Band and the Student Council on World Affairs. During this time she also participated in Model United Nations conferences and a Model NATO conference. In May of 2006, she graduated with a BA in Political Science with a History minor. In August of 2006, she moved to Morgantown, WV and began studies at West Virginia University. While there she was involved in Kappa Phi Christian Service Sorority and West Virginia Economic Policy Initiative. In December of 2008, she received her Master's degree in Political Science. In August of 2009, she began attending Mllersville University and worked to receive teaching certification. She was a substitute teacher at various schools in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties (PA). In August of 2016 she moved to NC to take a job at North Edgecombe High School. Ms. Burger enjoys History and Government, Ice Hockey and College Football as well as books of all kinds and movies. She also loves the outdoors and enjoys any time spent with her family especially her niece.
