Title I Parent Involvement

North Edgecombe High School is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parent involvement program and activities in our school. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. Please take a moment to review the slide deck to see how we have planned to used Title I funds at North. Please complete the survey on our main page to assist us with future planning for parental involvement activities for 2020-2021 at NEHS. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

Students Please Click Here for School Closure Plan

As a response to unexpected school closure, our staff has finalized plans for learning at home. To make this process easy for you, we have created one community document in which students will use to access all class assignments and teacher contact information. This plan will be emailed to all students on their ECPS email addresses at 8:00a tomorrow morning. You will also be able to access it on all of our social media accounts and webpage.

If you have requested paper copies of the assignments, we will begin delivering those on Wednesday morning along student's regular bus routes. Car riders can pick up their work at the Tarboro branch library on Main Street. If you also requested breakfast and lunch, those too will be delivered on the bus route. At this time, all buses will run their regular bus routes and stop at every stop, toot their horn to let you know they are here with meals and work packets. Buses will begin their breakfast delivery routes at approximately 8:00 a.m. Lunch delivery will begin at 11:30 a.m. It is very difficult to determine the exact time the bus will be at your specific stop, so we encourage parents and students to watch for their buses. We are asking for your patience as we work on making this process as efficient as possible.
